Background Information

What we currently know about Singapore's low birth rate issues is that Singaporeans are more focused in their work life and spend less time caring about their relationships. Singaporeans prefer to have smaller families as they want a simple and fast-paced life. The consequences are that Singapore will eventually have higher taxes due to fewer people in the workforce. We will also have a smaller talent pool as the Singapore government is bringing in more foreigners into our country. We also have an ageing population due to higher standards of hygiene and medical and health care.
